This is the new home for things I write — short notes on building, leading engineering, and the side projects I run from Beacon Hill, a family estate in Nelson, New Zealand, that comes complete with yaks, deer, and a busy market diary.
Posts will be infrequent and quietly opinionated. Topics will likely circle around: pragmatic engineering, indie SaaS economics, the boring fundamentals that make software durable, and the occasional rant about why patchy rural wifi is the best product feedback channel I've ever had.
